There are nearly 16,306 species threatened by extinction in the world today — an increase of nearly 200 critically endangered species since 2016. In this adventure, explorers will design a drone that will allow wildlife biologists to monitor those species and keep them healthy and safe from extinction.

I wish I could post more than one picture with my comment to show you all the amazing creations these kids designed as drone prototypes! Talk about ENGAGED!! Each time we do one of the career STEM lessons, they get more and more excited and I love it when they remember vocabulary, careers or processes from previous lessons and use those in the current one we are doing! I have one student who said that they will be a wildlife specialists one day, another one wants to study penguins in Antarctica! Definitely valuable life lessons here!
