Our junior engineers had fun discovering how prosthetics work. I shared the story of Winter, the real-life dolphin who was rescued and lost her tail due to a crab trap entanglement. She has inspired many people in many different ways, including our students! The blue dolphin at the top of the attached picture does not appear to have a prosthetic, but it does – inside the play-doh! Fun project for all!
