We read the story “Diary of a Spider” in our reading text books. I”m looking forward to linking this lesson with our reading lesson!

My students enjoyed using their imaginations to create a new spider and enjoyed using play dough to build it. What a hands-on lesson!!! We learned how many legs, eyes, and body parts spiders have. We even talked about their habitats. Plus we learned a new word – Arachnologist.

I can’t wait to use this lesson while we are reading Charlotte’s Web. Perfect science partner for this book.
